Patrick O’Donnell

Patrick is a prolific actor of Theatre, Film and Television. Among his many film credits, he has won the Best Actor Award at the Jameson Dublin Film Festival, as well as the Dublin Film Critic’s Circle Award for Best Actor for his role in ‘The Fading Light. Other credits include roles in ‘King for a Day’, ‘Babyface’, ‘The Solution’ and ‘Tin Can Man’, for which he was awarded Best International Actor at the Sydney Underground Film Festival. He also starred in ‘Opus K’, ‘The Looking Glass’ and most recently in ‘Derelict’, which has just been announced as the closing film at the Underground Film Festival in September.

Melissa Nolan

Melissa is a graduate of UCD holding a Masters Degree in Performance Drama & Theatre. Currently preparing for a PhD in Performance Drama; exploring the body through the work of Samuel Beckett. She is CoFounder of Mouth on Fire theatre company, who specialise in the work of Beckett through English and Irish. Melissa will be performing the World Premiere of Irish translation Rocabaí (Beckett’s Rockaby) at this years International Beckett Working Group, University of Southampton in September. Feb 2013 will see Melissa travel to Tokyo, Japan to perform Beckett’s work and workshop the texts through Irish, English and Japanese. Other film work includes Stalker (Galway Film Fleadh 2012), Marú, Saor Sinn o Ólc (TG4), Sodium Party (White Raven Films), Remember Me (RML Films) as well as numerous stage productions.

Geraldine McAlinden

Geraldine is an actor, theatre director, film producer and playwright based in Dublin. Her credits as an actor include roles in feature films PORTRAIT OF A ZOMBIE, shown at the Galway Film Fleadh, 2012 and winner of ‘Best Independent Feature Film’ at the Underground Cinema Film Festival, 2012. She also starred in ANTON (released in the USA as “Trapped”) which was selected for the Galway Film Festival 2008 and the Boston Irish Film Festival.

Among her many roles in short films, Geraldine has starred in THE CHRISTMAS WARD, winner of several awards including the Irish Film Board sponsored ‘Best Short’ at the 10th Oxygen.ie National Student Media Awards, and at the L.A. Reel Film festival in 2010, THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING OFFICE, selected for the Corona Cork Film Festival and the Kerry Film Festival, and GRAND OPENING, which was selected for the Foyle Film Festival 2011 and Galway Film Fleadh 2012. She has trained with The Gaiety School of Acting, The Focus Theatre, with Kristian Marken and John Cantwell’s ‘The Actors’ Studio’ and with Margie Haber. She has recently been selected to commence the Programme for Screen Acting at ‘The Factory’ in September 2012.

 

Rebecca Waldron

Rebecca WaldronIntroducing Rebecca Waldron, who plays our Laurie. Rebecca who is 8 years old, is with the Philippa Stapleton Agency. She has been trained through the Young Dramateers Theatre school. She loves acting and is a very chatty and enthusiastic little girl. We all thought she was a joy to work with!
